April saw PRM Marine gain the award as type approved for supply of pleasure and commercial craft gearboxes for use on all Russian riverways and inland waterways.
This approval opens up our supply network to 12,000miles of Russian inland waterways !!

PRM has recently acquired two Gleason Pheonix CNC gear hobbers along with a comprehensive suite of other gear production machines. This has been done to firmly establish our own in house gear production facility for the entire product portfolio.

PRM Marine is now fully up and running after the purchase of the company by new chairman Colin Howell and new Managing Director Rob Turner.

Rob says "All products are now up and running on all of our build lines and i can confirm we will be hitting full volume production during January to all customers.

PRM will be machining all major products within the 50,000 sq/ft Barlow Road facility. The assembly build lines will be moving here from the old Courtaulds Way site during February.

"We will be introducing 2 new major products during 2009 to the market. These products will be at either end of our current range" Rob adds. "I would like to thank all of our customers for their continued support"
